On February 16, 2006, BC Wood Properties successfully completed the acquisition of a $41.8 million shopping center portfolio comprised of 9 shopping centers and totaling approximately 992,000 square feet. Eight of the shopping centers are located in various regions of Tennessee and the remaining shopping center is located in Western Kentucky. This transaction was made possible through permanent financing provided by PNC Bank and was brokered by CBRE Nashville. This acquisition brings the BC Wood Properties total portfolio to over 3 million square feet in four states. The Company will continue to move forward in acquiring and re-tenanting existing centers which serve the moderate income shopper.
